Well you've got the guffaw now. I was typing as you were posting.
Every time I look along the road and see him up the ladder you know what I'll be thinking!
Of course my art work was previously on show round at Epy's, dont think you can say the same about yours. _________________ never gonna regret

Excuse me! That's how rumours start......
(btw, I want any royalties you may accrue or at least a percentage of the sale) _________________ What if......the hokey cokey IS what it's all about? |

Marissa's handsome young trophy husband can usually be found up his ladder of a weekend brandishing a power tool, desperately trying to finish this house in the spare few hours at the weekend the poor lad gets.
A funny story - about him up the ladder...a friend phoned one time while he was out there, I said Mr M couldn't come to the phone as he was up a ladder. The caller thought this was our code for him being otherwise occupied on the loo and had a good giggle on the other end of the phone. I was bemused and they were embarrassed when I said - can't you hear him drilling?
Made me think about their house and how funny that some folk can't just say, they're having a poo. |
Handsome, young and power tool are amongst my favourite words.
Not so fond of poo though. |

The bird feeder heads
They are seriously, seriously grotesque and creepy. I certainly wouldn't be walking past that to get to my front door. Something strange going on in the mind of the 'artist' who thought them up. _________________ What if......the hokey cokey IS what it's all about? |

Epy made me drive past the heads this afternoon, I get the point. Hers, not the artists. |

I love having telephone conversations on the toilet, for the reaction you get when the person on the other end hears the flush and realizes the other person was on the shitter the whole time. It's great for when people are trying to sell you stuff, really puts them off their script. _________________ an evening of dadaist cabaret |

I heard a piece on the World Service last night and had to find out more
I am SO glad they didn't put this piece of artwork near us, especially after reading some of the comments

I think it sounds like great fun. Be good if it was in the middle of nowhere and you could leave when you'd listened long enough though. _________________ What if......the hokey cokey IS what it's all about? |

It was some of the comments like farting down the phone that got me.
If I want to hear that sort of thing...
The people on the World Service were from the village I think ( was half asleep ) they say there had been a lot of music played at them
Torquil and Elizabeth I think they were called _________________ never gonna regret

I saw the ones in Regent St tonight -they are really bad - however they seem to have generated a keep up with the Jones' furore and there are a couple of really eye catching 'installations' - I overheard one woman talking to her neighbour about her own 'thing' in the garden and this is what she referred to it as.
Margot and Gerry would have loved Regent! |
